Privacy Policy
Short version: Seaworthy does not collect any data about you. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
What the app stores
The boats, engines, maintenance tasks, engine hours, logged work, notes, costs and photos you add are stored only on your device, inside the app. The developer has no server and cannot see, access or recover this information.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs.
- No data is sent over the internet by the app.
- No location, contacts or other personal information is read.
Photos
If you add a photo of your boat, you choose it with the iOS photo picker. Only the photo you pick is copied into the app; the app has no access to the rest of your photo library.
iCloud and backups
Your iPhone's own backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer) may include the app's data, as for any app. These backups are managed by Apple under your Apple Account. If a future version offers optional iCloud sync, your data will be stored in your private iCloud account; the developer will still have no access to it.
Deleting your data
You can delete a boat and all its data inside the app (Boats → boat → Edit → Delete boat). Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
